5 beauty products every woman should have

Hi guys!

In today’s blog I’m going to talk about 5 beauty products almost every woman should have or probably already has. I like make up, a lot. Since I am in school and don’t have that much money to spend I usually use budget proof products, just like a lot of students. Hope you guys like it 🙂

1. Moisturizer

Nothing is more important than taking care of your skin, if you have a dry skin like me, a really hydrating creme is an essential. Make sure to check if the cream has an SPF in it. The sun can damage you skin whether it’s sunny or not. The one that I have been using is the Nivea daily essentials rich moisturising day cream, SPF 15. It is really affordable and lasts long. If your skin is more oily I’d recommend an oil-free cream, for example the Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Daily Moisturiser. It is made to control oily skin, tighten pores and hydrate. Now these are really budget so it is up to you to decide if you want to spend some more money on good skincare products.I recently discovered Dermalogica. This is a more expensive brand with really good products. They gave me some samples to try out and I have definitely noticed some positive changes. If you want to check them out -> Dermalogica

2. Concealer

If you had to finish a paper and stay up all night, there are chances you’ll wake up with some dark circles under your eyes but don’t worry, we have concealer! A budget one I’ve been loving is the Maybelline fit me! concealer.

3. Foundation

I personally don’t use foundation because I have a hard time finding one that is perfect for my skin. Every skin type is different so it is important to know what you’re applying on your skin. Foundation is there to give an even colour to your complexion and to cover up “flaws”. If you don’t know what colour is best for you I recommend seeing a make up artist, the people from MAC or other beauty brands can definitely help you with deciding what colour, formula and undertone is best for your skin type.

4. Bronzer and highlighter

Since winter is coming we are all a little paler, thanks to bronzer we will have some colour on our cheeks as it’s getting colder and colder. Highlighter of course is there to make you glow like a disco ball (if you use as much as I do). Using darker and lighter colours to shape your face are key in today’s beauty world.

5. Mascara

I don’t know a person that doesn’t use mascara, I think it is definitely one of the most used beauty products. It gives your eyes a more open look and darkens, thickens, lengthens and defines your lashes. A beauty product most people couldn’t live without.

These are the five most common beauty products in my opinion, if you you have other products in your top 5 let me know!

All the love,

Lauren
